Jay du Plessis - Anthem@Trinations

Jay du Plessis made so many South African's prioud with his delivery of the national anthem before the NZ vs SA Tri-nations kick-off.

Just another reason to love this artist who went solo after being a part of the hugely successful band Eden.

Here is another song of his that turned out to be a great hit; and he is not done!  Always waiting in anticipation for any project Jay is involved with.

Kockott joining the Lions

Absa Currie Cup: Sharks v Vodacom Blue BullsSharks scrumhalf Rory Kockott will be returning to Johannesburg after signing a new contract with the Lions, according to latest Beeld reports.
Kockott relocated to Durban from Johannesburg in 2007 and seems to be one of several Sharks players whose paths are leading them back to South Africa’s City of Gold.
The 24-year old was forced to play in the shadows of Ruan Pienaar and Charl McLeod at the Sharks and, after much speculation, has decided against renewing his contract with the Durban team.
According to Sharks  CEO Brian van Zyl, Kockott only finalised a deal with the GLRU in the past two days.
“He was with us this week, saying he can’t manage anything (with the Lions) and asked if we could help him. We were willing to extend his contract by another six months, but the Lions suddenly sent word that they would sign him,” he said.
Kockott will need to compete for the Lions number nine jersey with current scrumhalf, Jano Vermaak, as well as Michael Bondesio, who plays for the Leopards.
